Mr. Steadman graduated from Wofford College in 1976 and obtained his J.D. (law) degree from the University of South Carolina in 1981. He has been deeply involved in creditor/debtor rights. He served as in-house counsel to South Carolina Federal Credit Union for 4 years and is presently a member of the American, South Carolina, Charleston County and South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Associations. He is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA). He is admitted to practice in both South Carolina state and Federal Courts. He also serves as adjunct instructor and member of Paralegal Advisory Committee at Trident Technical College.
